Media Sequence v2.1 - May '99 - by Marc BARILLEY ------------------- This is a multimedia sequence player, which can play various multimedia file formats, such as AVI, MPEG, BMP, JPEG, texts and others. Each media is identified by an alias. Simply open a file, set its parameters and the sequence is ready. Editing the sequence -------------------- 1. Adding a media Click on the "Empty" button, give the media an alias, open a file by clicking the "Open" button. If this is a movie or a sound, choose the interval you want to play by dragging the cursors on the slider. 2. Editing a media Click on the button, which represents the media and go to point 1. 3. Setting the media order Drag the cursors of the sliders in the main editing window to rearrange the order in which the medias will be played Actions ------- start : the usual "start" action, e.g. associated with the "start" action of the primary black box destroy : the usual "destroy" action, which destroys the client module play : plays the sequence and activates the "playing" link stop : stops the sequence and activates the "stopped" link play : plays a single media and activates the "playing_" link. This action won't have any effects if the sequence is already running stop : stops a single media and activates the "stopped_" link Events ------ in : client ready. has got all the medias on local disk. playing : the sequence has started stopped : the sequence has stopped playing : a single media has started stopped : a single media has stopped Zones ----- : for each alias a zone is created, which is named upon the alias. Aliases not associated with a zone won't be displayed.
